An Entityrelationship Diagram That Represents The Data Storage Requirements For A Real Estate

Question

an entity-relationship diagram that represents the data storage requirements for a Real Estate

system.

A real estate firm has a number of sales offices. Each office is assigned sales agents and each sales agent is assigned to one office. Each office is managed by one of the sales agents in the office. Also, most sales agents are assigned a mentor within the office.

The firm lists properties for sale and for rent. Every property is listed with one sales office. Every property listed is owned by one or more clients. If a property is owned by more than one client, information is kept about each of the clients. A client may decide to list more than one property at a time. Every listed property is usually assigned to a sales agent in the office that lists the property. However, it is possible that the listed property is assigned to a sales agent from another office within the firm.

Some information that needs to be stored about a property includes the listing address, number of bedrooms, selling price and rental price.

Note: You need to make some logical assumptions about some of the business rules.

Hint: In which entity/entities would you store the following information i.e. property address, number of bedrooms, selling price and rental price?
